Verde Design collaborated with McGuire & Hester as part of a design-build team to develop comprehensive design and construction documents for the Student Housing Block 20 courtyard and campus entry plaza at the University of California, San Francisco. This multifaceted project featured an information kiosk and incorporated various hardscape elements, including natural stone slab seat walls and pavers, which were thoughtfully designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the space. Additionally, the landscape design emphasized sustainability by utilizing drought-tolerant plant materials, aligning with contemporary environmental practices. Verde Design also played a crucial role in coordinating the design and installation of artistic elements within the project, while providing essential construction administration services to ensure the successful execution of the design vision.
