Landscape Designer | Santa Clara, CA
Job#ADuties
- Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify detailed site plans for landscape architectural design, and ensure accuracy for design dimensions, layout, elements and concepts.
- Utilize AutoCAD to produce landscape architectural construction documents and design schematics.
- Develop grading and drainage plans using AutoCAD, modeling topographic adjustments of water flow and site elevation for field design.
- Process design changes and updates in AutoCAD, ensuring all drawings are compliant with project specifications and regulations.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to research and evaluate environmental, zoning, soil conditions, vegetation, hydrological data and regulatory factors.
- Prepare planting plans that balance aesthetic appeal with ecological benefits, focusing on native and drought-tolerant species to promote long-term sustainability.
Job requires Bachelor’s landscape architecture. 2 years’ experience, Must be able to perform the job tasks, including having knowledge of AutoCAD. $80k/yr.
