As we usher in 2026, Verde Design is experiencing steady growth, welcoming new team members to support our expanding portfolio of projects. This year also marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the promotions of long-serving employees Chris Giannini and Pat Healy to the position of Senior Associates. Their contributions have been instrumental in shaping the direction and success of our firm, and their new roles reflect both their dedication and expertise.

Chris has been a cornerstone of our organization, particularly in establishing and managing our Riverside office. Currently overseeing our Southern California branch, he also excels as a senior project manager. His vast expertise spans a wide array of disciplines, including park design, public works, high-density housing, private residential projects, commercial and retail development, as well as streetscape and highway design. With more than 25 years of experience in the design industry, Chris has garnered numerous awards, most notably for his recent work on Esperanza Park in Cathedral City, which received the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) California 2026 Commendation Award and was recognized as the American Public Works Association (APWA) 2025 Project of Merit by the Coachella Valley Chapter.

Pat, with 15 years of experience in the design field, has played a vital role in the successful execution of a diverse array of projects in Northern California, ranging from large public recreational and athletic facilities to commercial and educational campuses. His academic background in landscape architecture and urban design has endowed him with a versatile skill set, enabling him to tackle both small-scale site designs and large-scale master planning initiatives. Pat’s unwavering commitment to his profession is matched by a strong sense of pride and responsibility, motivating him to develop environments that not only meet current needs but are also sustainable for the future. Having dedicated over 11 years to Verde Design, he has now matured into a senior project manager, providing mentorship and support to the design team.
