Verde designed a corporate cafeteria patio in an area located between three buildings. Existing mature trees provided the key to the success of this project. They were an invaluable asset because of their welcome shade in the summer and the personal scale they provided near very large buildings. The design provided seating space for up to 100 people, but allowed for flexibility to adjust to varying group sizes. It also recycled an existing river cobble, addressed ADA circulation issues and improved site lighting.
