Verde Design was engaged to deliver design services for a 12-acre community park in the Town of Apple Valley. This site, which had formerly served as sports fields and featured a decomposed granite track, was leased from the local school district and had deteriorated over time. Recognizing its potential, the Town chose this property to apply for Proposition 68 State Grant Funding aimed at establishing a new park. The state subsequently awarded funding to the Town to create a recreational facility that would benefit the underserved community. In response, Verde Design’s multi-disciplinary team has developed various conceptual master plan options that align with the allocated budget, and they are currently in the process of preparing the construction drawing.
