Verde Design collaborated with Chabot College to enhance their athletic infrastructure, which included the renovation of the College’s football facility, improvements to the softball and tennis complexes, the replacement of the hammer/discus cage, and the reconstruction of the central plaza within the athletic facility. The Verde Design team successfully converted the existing natural grass football field to synthetic turf while ensuring that the adjacent all-weather running track remained undisturbed. Prior to the commencement of the football season, the stadium lighting for the football field was upgraded. To optimize the playing area and comply with NCAA field dimension standards, the softball facility was strategically reoriented, leading to the development of a new design. Additionally, the two northernmost tennis courts underwent a structural overlay, while the remaining courts were reoriented and reconstructed to accommodate both current and anticipated usage of the tennis program.
More recently, Verde Design was retained by the College to undertake a renovation and enhancement of their tennis complex. The two northernmost tennis courts underwent a structural overlay, while the other courts were reconfigured and rebuilt to align with the current and anticipated requirements of the tennis program.
