Derek McKee serves as a principal and co-founder of Verde Design, where he plays a pivotal role in managing client relationships and overseeing production coordination. With over 27 years of experience in landscape architecture, he has contributed to a diverse array of projects, including public parks, habitat restoration and preservation initiatives, athletic facilities, educational institutions, and mass transit designs. Derek is committed to delivering innovative solutions and practical designs, ensuring that each project is approached with a deep understanding of the needs of both clients and the surrounding community. Derek actively engages in community service, having served as a public works commissioner, a board member for a community park conservancy, and participating in various committees with the California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS).
