The Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center encompasses a well-established 38-acre sports facility located within the City of Morgan Hill. This center features two illuminated synthetic turf fields designed for multiple sports, complete with covered bleacher seating, alongside ten natural grass fields primarily designated for soccer activities. Additional amenities include a concession and restroom facility, a hardscape promenade, and ample paved parking areas. Furthermore, the center houses an 8.5-acre Aquatics Center, which boasts a competition-sized swimming pool, a water park, a splash pad, restrooms, locker rooms, a kitchen with concession services, and dedicated parking. Recently, the City has expanded its footprint by acquiring two additional parcels of land, measuring 10 acres and 3.8 acres, situated to the east and south of the Aquatics Center, respectively. These new acquisitions are poised to significantly enhance the park’s capabilities, enabling it to accommodate major regional tournaments and sporting events. In light of these developments, the City has engaged Verde Design to develop a comprehensive master plan that will incorporate community and stakeholder feedback, guiding the design of the necessary upgrades and expansions for the sports park.
