
Verde design was selected by University of the Pacific to develop an athletic master plan responding to the removal of the historic Amos Alonso Stagg Memorial Stadium. The plan responded to a vision identified by the university that the athletics core, which resides along the entire western edge of the campus, be open and inviting to the community.
The master plan consolidated athletic venues south of the Calaveras River into an Athletic District. The plan addressed a cohesive configuration for new competitive soccer, field hockey, aquatic and tennis facilities. Infrastructural concerns, parking, circulation, and future athletic, recreational and academic elements such as updates to the Alex G. Spanos Center, baseball clubhouse at Klein Family Field, Recreational and training center.
