University of the Pacific Zimmerman Tennis Facility

Verde Design was selected by the University of the Pacific to develop schematic design documents for the new Eve Zimmerman Tennis Facility. The complex includes, at build-out, twelve new NCAA competition courts equipped with LED athletic lighting, dual scoreboards, and elevated bleacher seating for six of the twelve courts. The two championship courts include courtside seating connected to a pedestrian plaza allowing for open circulation from the courts to future locker rooms, team rooms, the café, and tennis operation offices.

The facility is designed to compete with the finest collegiate tennis facilities on the West Coast. Thoughtful design details were carefully studied to ensure unparalleled spectator viewing of the matches; in particular, the championship courts allow spectators a close-up view of the action from the courtside seating.
