The City of Paso Robles was awarded a State of California Department of Parks and Recreation Proposition 84 Grant for a new park at 36th and Spring Streets. The City selected Verde Design to provide conceptual design, site planning, and construction documentation for this 1.3 acre park, set inside the heart of a popular neighborhood development.
The park is heavily used by families and features playgrounds for a variety of children’s age ranges and interests. There is also a planned community garden on-site. In addition, the project included native and drought-tolerant landscaping, irrigation systems, retaining walls, and utilities and drainage improvements. An on-site parking lot, fencing and lighting, contribute to the safety and security of the park.
