Verde Design oversaw the process of removing and replacing the outdated synthetic turf field at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, which had been in place for a decade. In order to address the specific requirements of the school, we undertook a comprehensive redesign of the field while also implementing necessary upgrades to the deteriorating stormwater management systems and retaining walls. Our design solutions encompassed optimal field grading, the installation of a new in-field drainage system to rectify issues related to field settlement and water accumulation, the establishment of new field boundaries, and the selection of an advanced synthetic turf product.
