Wilder Park is a community park within the City of Orinda. Verde Design was retained by the Wilder Ranch developer, Brooks Street, to design a synthetic turf baseball and soccer field, a natural grass little league/softball field, a picnic area, and playgrounds. Our designers developed an overall site layout, including the infrastructure and amenities to support the public use and enjoyment of the proposed fields.
The project included new landscaping, hardscaping, and paving around the 9.9 acre improvement area. Verde Design also developed the areas around the park’s Art & Garden Center, including a small amphitheater. The result of Verde Design’s involvement in Wilder Park was a space that enhanced the community and provided more areas for play.
