Verde Design is proud to announce that the Placer Valley Soccer Complex has been recognized with the 2026 APWA Sacramento Chapter Project of the Year Award in the Structures category. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding public works projects that demonstrate excellence in planning, design, construction, and collaboration.

Completed through a collaborative partnership with the City of Roseville and the broader project team, the Placer Valley Soccer Complex provides a premier destination for youth and adult soccer while supporting regional tournaments, recreation, and community events. The project was thoughtfully designed to expand the City’s recreational amenities while creating a high-quality facility that will serve the community for generations.

Verde Design provided comprehensive landscape architecture and civil engineering services throughout planning, design, and construction, working closely with City staff and project stakeholders to create a functional, sustainable, and welcoming sports complex. The project reflects the City’s long-term vision of providing exceptional recreational opportunities while supporting the continued growth of organized sports and community programming throughout the region.
