Verde Design has worked with the Berkeley Unified School District since 2012. Multiple projects have been completed on campus, including track and field improvements, a new gymnasium, and re-purposing of Bancroft Avenue, which used to bisect the campus. Over eight acres of the campus, including a new quad and athletic plaza, was reconstructed in multiple phases, and has transformed the urban downtown Berkeley campus into an example of how to revitalize a school without shutting it down.
