Since 2007, Stockton Unified School District has entrusted Verde Design with their athletic improvements at its four high schools. The most recent improvements took place at the District’s Franklin High School, where the School’s exterior athletic facilities were reconstructed to better serve the entire student body and the community.
The School’s new stadium provides a competitive venue for the track and field, soccer, and football programs. Supporting the facility are centralized ticketing and concession buildings, home and visitor restrooms, grandstand bleacher seating, LED sports field lighting, a scoreboard, synthetic turf sports field surfacing, marquee signage and a press box. The School’s athletic master plan, developed by Verde Design originally in 2007, envisioned a standalone high school stadium predominately located at the entry way. The construction of the stadium is the first of many athletic improvements the campus received. As part of the development of the master plan, we also recently completed a new baseball field and softball field, as well as tennis courts, hard courts, while the school’s aquatic center and a golf practice facility are still under construction.
