Moreno Valley Unified School District selected Verde Design to design new tracks and synthetic fields with corresponding events for three of their high schools.
VALLEY VIEW HIGH SCHOOL Valley View High School had an aging track and deteriorating grass football field. Verde Design in collaboration with Ruhnau Clarke, was tasked with the overall sports field design, construction documentation, and construction administration as it related to the new synthetic turf multi-use soccer and football field, and a new all-weather surfaced running track and field event areas. The project also included the design of site improvements such as perimeter track fencing, walkway improvements to achieve DSA accessibility code requirements, and utility improvements to the drainage and irrigation at the site.
MORENO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL For Moreno Valley High School, the Verde Design team designed a new track and synthetic turf multisport field including drainage infrastructure. The project also included improved walkways to the football stadium and restroom/ concession building and upgraded accessible parking stalls. Perimeter landscape, irrigation improvements, a new shot-put area, and new utilities were also provided.
VISTA DEL LAGO HIGH SCHOOL The project at Vista Del Lago High School included a new track and synthetic turf multi-sport field with drainage infrastructure. Verde Design also designed improved walkways to the football stadium and restroom/ concession building and upgraded accessible parking stalls. Long Jump, Triple Jump events, a new shot-put area and new utilities were also provided.
