Natomas Unified School District selected Verde Design for the track resurfacing and synthetic turf field replacement at Inderkum High School. After a drainage test was completed on the subbase of the field the report found the subbase needed regrading, new drainage rock, and a YSR brock was used to ensure proper drainage of the new field.
The synthetic turf used was Revolution 360, a FieldTurf product, with a sand and cork infill. The field is striped for football and soccer with endzone lettering in the school’s official font where normally the collegiate block lettering is used. The existing football goal posts were also painted.
The school opted to have a grey track installed with blue exchange zones, which comply with the recent changes to the NFHS track rules, as well as take-off boards at the jump pits.
