Verde Design collaborated with Ruhnau Clarke Architects as the design consultant for the renovation of the track and field facility at Norte Vista High School in Riverside. The existing facility had become outdated, particularly the natural grass field that was in use. In our role as the design consultant, we developed conceptual drawings and construction documents for a new synthetic turf field, complemented by an all-weather track encircling the area. The newly upgraded synthetic turf field is equipped with overlays specifically for football and soccer, thereby expanding the opportunities for various sports programs to be conducted. Additionally, enhancements to the track include the incorporation of long jump and triple jump pits, as well as a designated high jump area.
