The fifth-largest school district in California, the Elk Grove Unified School District, has partnered with Verde Design, an integrated landscape architecture and civil engineering firm, for the first phase of the District’s campus-wide athletic improvements as part of the Measure M bond program. Florin, Franklin, Laguna Creek and Pleasant Grove High Schools are set to receive four new track and field venues, and a new all-weather, synthetic turf field will be installed at Valley High School. The projects, currently in design, will support Elk Grove Unified School District’s goal of providing athletic programs to students that enhance their physical, social, and academic development.
