Gibson Park is a recreational facility situated in the City of Roseville, featuring a variety of sports courts that cater to tennis, pickleball, and basketball enthusiasts. Recently, Verde Design successfully completed the initial phase of development at the park, which included the establishment of nine dedicated pickleball courts, a restroom facility, shaded seating areas, and enhanced lighting for the sports courts. This phase has garnered recognition, earning the 2024 Outdoor Pickleball Silver Award from the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA). Additionally, this phase introduced enhancements such as accessible parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations. Looking ahead, the City plans to expand further with the addition of three more pickleball courts, ten tennis courts, and three basketball courts, alongside improvements in parking, landscaping, and signage. Future developments will also incorporate a walking trail and a fitness loop equipped with fitness stations, promoting a more diverse range of recreational activities for the community.
