Chris-G Verde Design is excited to announce the addition of award-winning landscape architect and community park expert Chris Giannini to the firm’s Riverside Office. In his role, Chris will serve as a Senior Project Manager, and will work closely with the firm’s principals, business development, and marketing groups to better serve our existing clients and foster new relationships, supporting the firm’s continued growth from its newest office in downtown Riverside.

Chris brings expertise in public works, high-density housing development, private residential design, commercial development, retail development, streetscape and highway design, and construction management to the Verde team. His experience in parks, urban development, and the education markets compliment Verde Design’s parks, public and private K-12, college, and university work, and supports the firm’s strong overall growth in the civic market.

In his own words, “I have a great deal of experience with design in public spaces from an interdisciplinary perspective. I understand the impact and layered integration that each design discipline brings to every project.”

Chris has more than 25 years of experience in the design industry. His career began in 1994 as a landscape architect with a local landscape architectural services firm. During his time in the industry, Chris developed a strong portfolio of projects, from private residences to public works development, and in time, he worked his way up to a principal-level role. Chris has served in a variety of roles, from project management, client relations and business development, to business unit leader, and he most recently served as Vice President, Land Development Segment Manager. Over his career, Chris has received multiple project awards from California Parks & Recreation Society (CPRS), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and American Public Works Association (APWA), all organizations he is involved in. These awards recognized park projects in Palm Desert, Burbank, Cathedral City, San Bernardino, and Santa Ana.

Chris is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. With his family, Chris currently resides in Riverside, CA, where he is a leader in his neighborhood and is active in his church.

Verde Design is thrilled to collaborate with Chris as the firm continues to meet the needs of Southern California (SoCal) clients. Together with Chris and the Riverside office, Verde Design is well-positioned for continued growth into 2019. Chris adds, “my passion has always been design, and the ability to create community-based projects of lasting value.”

From its four offices, Verde Design is committed to providing integrated design and civil engineering services, a creative multi-disciplinary staff, and unmatched quality to clients within the Inland Empire and throughout SoCal. The firm’s downtown Riverside office, which marks the most recent step in its planned expansion, is located at 3685 Main Street, Suite 350, Riverside CA 92501.
