Encina-HS-graphic-022317-PHASE-1-A As part of its $750 million Measure P Bond Program, the San Juan Unified School District has partnered with Verde Design, an integrated landscape architecture and civil engineering firm, to design several new track and field facilities for three campuses.

Continuing a relationship that first began in 2013 with the replacement of Del Campo and El Camino High School’s natural turf field and construction of all-weather tracks. San Juan Unified School District (SJUSD) and Verde Design are currently in the design phase for three new projects. The first, at Casa Roble High School, includes, a new synthetic turf field, d-zone improvements, new track & field events, a new concession/restroom building and new ticket booth. The Encina and Mira Loma High School campuses are each set to receive a new eight-lane, all-weather track with field events, synthetic turf football/soccer field, new concession/restroom building and ticket booth on each campus. Projects are expected to begin this summer and complete in late Fall 2017.
