The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District recently selected Verde Design and its architect partner HMC to provide architectural and engineering services for Bridging Documents for a New Baseball Field Project at the Chabot College campus in Hayward, CA. This project is a part of the District’s Capital Building Program, and supports its continued expansion efforts to meet the changing needs of student athletes, and the Hayward community.

The project team will develop a program, schematic design and bridging documents for the design of a new baseball field and improved infrastructure and drainage systems, as well as new lighting, press box, bleachers, scoreboard, fencing, backstops, and ADA-compliant restrooms and pathways. The team will support the District’s public agency procurement phase by also providing a review of future Design-Build design documents for conformance with District program standards.
