The City of Sunnyvale has selected Verde Design as its designer for the Fair Oaks Park project. The San Jose Mercury News profiled us in an article, which is quoted in part below available to read here.

“A magical playground, spiffed up picnic area and new athletic fields—possibly made of artificial turf—are all part of a major renovation planned for Sunnyvale’s Fair Oaks Park.

…The city wants to replace the park’s athletic fields, upgrade its picnic areas, install new water play features, add a dog park, provide basketball and tennis courts and pave a new parking lot.

Work already has begun in a play section of the park, where new lighting was added to a skate park, the community building was renovated, auxiliary restrooms were built and an existing parking lot was improved. That area will also include the city’s first “all-abilities” playground, built by the Magic Bridge Foundation; the project was approved by the council on July 11.”
