In advance of the largest running, women-only professional tennis tournament in the world, Mubdala Silicon Valley , San Jose State University opened its new tennis complex this July. The complex, designed to USTA standards, features six high-performance outdoor tennis courts with LED lighting, spectator seating, new scoreboard, and other features.

This tennis complex is the latest project that Verde Design has delivered to the San Jose State University campus. Since 2009, Verde Design has contributed to several athletic facilities on campus, including a 17-acre golf training facility (with LED lighting for night use), and a renovated softball complex. These projects, along with the new tennis complex, support the University’s ongoing master plan efforts to develop world-class facilities for student athletes.
