Verde Design recently provided upgrades to Foster City’s 3rd Avenue Windsurf Park. The project included a site redesign with the addition of a restroom building, concessions and picnic area, new fencing and staging area, and the replacement of the carpeted “gear up” areas with an all-fiber synthetic turf system. The new design required plans and detailing for C.3 stormwater management of all paving and the existing parking lot, and an ADA compliant design of ramps, walls and paving for the restroom building, picnic and concession areas.
