The recently completed landmark parks project for the City of Morgan Hill, known as the Three Downtown Parks, was recognized during the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2018 Structures Awards, held last night at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. Verde Design was honored to contribute to this transformative project. The new parks, totaling 4 acres collectively, provide the Morgan Hill community with a unique blend of features that honor the city’s environmental surroundings, topography, and history. They feature a railroad-themed park with inclusive play structures for all ages and abilities, and two parks in the riparian and Oak woodlands with vista areas and fantastic views of the City.
